X Revenue Sharing Payout Schedule and Final Payment Dates

Current as of August 11, 2026: X says Creator Revenue Sharing is ending. Existing members are scheduled for two standard payouts on August 14 and August 28, followed by a final payout for earnings accrued through September 7 that is expected on or around September 11. X uses “expected,” so September 11 should not be treated as a guaranteed bank-deposit date.

Before the retirement notice, X described Revenue Sharing payouts as processed every two weeks with a $30 minimum payout. The replacement Original Content Rewards program also currently states a two-week processing cadence and a $30 minimum.

The official sources are X's Creator Revenue Sharing help page and Original Content Rewards help page. Recheck both if you are reading this after the date above.

The final Creator Revenue Sharing schedule

X stopped accepting new Revenue Sharing enrollments on August 7, 2026 and says existing members continue earning through September 7.

Its announced sequence is:

Payment X's stated timing What it means
Standard payout August 14, 2026 One of the final payments under the usual schedule
Standard payout August 28, 2026 The second announced standard payment
Final payout Expected on or around September 11, 2026 Covers eligible earnings accrued through September 7

These are processing expectations published by X, not a guarantee that funds will be visible in every bank account on the same day. The payout provider, identity checks, account status, threshold treatment, holidays, and receiving bank can affect what a creator sees.

The announcement also does not mean every enrolled creator will receive the same amount or necessarily receive a payment on every listed date. A payout still depends on eligible earnings and completion of the required payout setup.

What “every two weeks” does and does not mean

A biweekly processing schedule describes how often X currently processes eligible payouts. It does not mean:

  • Money is earned at a fixed daily rate.
  • Every account receives cash exactly 14 days after a post performs.
  • Every creator is paid on every cycle.
  • A dashboard estimate is already final.
  • The receiving bank credits the account the moment X initiates processing.
  • A creator below the minimum threshold receives a partial payment.

Treat the processing date, payout-provider transfer, and bank availability as three different events. Creator Studio may show progress before the funds settle in the destination account.

The $30 minimum payout

X currently states a $30 minimum for Creator Revenue Sharing. In practical terms, reaching a small positive balance does not by itself create a payout.

The official help page is concise and does not spell out every possible threshold edge case for the retiring program. It does not, for example, provide a detailed public table explaining how every sub-$30 balance will be handled during the final settlement. If your displayed balance is below the minimum as retirement approaches, do not assume it will be paid, forfeited, rounded up, or rolled into another program. Check Creator Studio and ask X support for account-specific treatment.

The replacement Original Content Rewards page also lists a $30 minimum. That does not prove an old Revenue Sharing balance automatically transfers to the new program. X describes an application process for Original Content Rewards, not a balance migration guarantee.

Payout setup requirements

X says an eligible creator must complete these steps in Creator Studio:

  1. Connect a Stripe payout account or an X Money Account, where that option is available.
  2. Complete identity verification through Stripe.

These are not administrative details to leave until the announced payment date. A name, country, tax, identity, or bank-information mismatch can delay or block payout processing.

Before a cycle closes, confirm:

  • The payout destination is connected to the correct X account.
  • Identity verification shows as complete.
  • The legal name and payout information match the provider's records.
  • The bank or payout method remains active.
  • Creator Studio does not show an account, content, or policy hold.
  • Your contact details are current in case the provider requests information.

Never send identity documents or passwords to an account that contacts you by reply or Direct Message. Start from Creator Studio or an official X or Stripe domain.

Why an X payment may not arrive on the headline date

The balance is below the minimum

A creator can have eligible activity without crossing $30. A scheduled processing day does not override the stated threshold.

Payout onboarding is incomplete

Connecting a destination and passing identity verification are prerequisites. An application approval alone is not enough.

The account is under review or suspended from monetization

X says it may suspend Revenue Sharing when it has evidence of a rules violation. Monetization Standards, the User Agreement, and other X rules continue to apply during the final earning period.

The displayed figure is estimated or adjusted

Do not treat an early dashboard number as cash until the payout is approved and processed. Qualified activity, enforcement, or other adjustments may change what is payable.

The payment processor or bank needs more time

A processing date is not necessarily the settlement date. Provider review, weekends, holidays, currency conversion, and the receiving institution can add time.

The program transition creates an account-specific question

Revenue Sharing ends on September 7, while access for existing members to apply for Original Content Rewards begins rolling out on September 8. Approval for the new program is not automatic. A question about the final old-program balance cannot safely be answered by quoting the new program's schedule.

What happens after September 7?

X says it will begin rolling out access for existing Revenue Sharing members to apply for Original Content Rewards from September 8. Applicants need to meet that program's eligibility requirements, and meeting them does not guarantee admission.

Once approved, Original Content Rewards currently processes payouts every two weeks with a $30 minimum. It rewards qualified impressions on original content. It is a separate program governed by separate terms, even though the published cadence and threshold presently match Revenue Sharing.

Creators who already completed identity verification and have a valid payout method connected should not need to repeat those steps for the replacement program, according to X. Still, check the status shown in Creator Studio rather than assuming old approval carries over.

Do not confuse Revenue Sharing and Subscriptions schedules

X Creator Subscriptions has different payment rules. The official creator Subscriptions page describes a $50 minimum and payments approximately 60 days after the end of the month in which X received the subscription revenue, typically within the first two weeks of the payment month.

That is not the same as the two-week Revenue Sharing schedule. If you earn through both, keep separate records for:

  • Revenue Sharing or Original Content Rewards.
  • Subscription revenue.
  • Refunds or chargebacks affecting Subscriptions.
  • Brand or sponsorship income paid outside X's creator programs.

One Stripe account can receive different kinds of creator payments without making their calculation or schedule identical.

How to track a payout without guessing

Use a short reconciliation checklist for each cycle:

  1. Save the period shown in Creator Studio.
  2. Record the approved amount, not only public impressions.
  3. Note whether the $30 minimum has been reached.
  4. Record the date X or its provider marks the payout as processed.
  5. Record the date funds become available in the destination account.
  6. Keep any transaction or payout identifier.
  7. Contact official support if the account status and provider status conflict.

This record helps distinguish an eligibility issue from a transfer delay. It also prevents a planned processing date from being mistaken for a guaranteed payday.

Dates to keep

For existing Creator Revenue Sharing members, the official final schedule names August 14, August 28, and a final payment expected on or around September 11 for eligible earnings through September 7. The program has a $30 minimum and requires completed payout and identity setup. None of those dates guarantees that every creator receives a bank deposit that day.

Read the current X Revenue Sharing eligibility guide for the enrollment transition, or X monetization in 2026 for the broader program comparison. For an account-specific answer, use Creator Studio and the official help pages rather than a social post predicting the next payment.
